The Teldat Southern Europe Business Unit (BU) Kick Off was held in Madrid this week. As with the LATAM Kick Off last week, the opening speech was by Antonio García Marcos, Teldat President, who was obviously extremely pleased the great results the whole Teldat corporation had achieved in 2018. Ignacio Villaseca, Teldat CEO, then took the stand. He explained the Teldat results in detail, which have increases in sales and profit, and he mentioned how important this was for Teldat’s expansion plans for the following years, as the market moves from traditional IP networks to the new SD-WAN concept.
Miguel Angel Leal, Teldat Chief Sales & Digital Officer, transmitted that although the current market transformation towards SD-WAN is a huge change for Teldat, he reminded the audience, that firstly Teldat had already gone through other market changes successfully. Secondly, that our current beneficial financial situation was going to help tremendously in making the change effective. He also specifically congratulated the business unit for the results that they had accomplished.
Ignacio Loizaga, Teldat Chief Marketing & Technology Officer, described in more depth, the transformation from a technological stance and the increased importance that software is obtaining within networks. Thus the relevance of SD-WAN. Francisco Guerrero, Teldat Product Marketing VP, and Business Line Managers within his team disclosed all the new products and solutions to be incorporated into the Teldat product portfolio, key selling points, market intelligence and more.
