SD-WAN is increasingly becoming a key element in today’s enterprises’ WAN infrastructures by easing the management and performance of network communications between and within dispersed locations, allowing secure access to resources in private and public Datacenters as well as cloud applications.
Wide-area network functionality is shifting to feature-rich SD-WAN platforms that keep adding innovative and improved network technologies. Cloud or VA service – Teldat’s SD-WAN solution allows its core elements to be located either on the customer’s premises or in the cloud. The SD-WAN controller (CloudNetManager) can be offered as a SaaS solution installed in a public cloud, currently in Google Cloud or Azure, or in Virtual Appliance mode, installed in the customer’s own infrastructure. On the other hand, the concentrators (hubs) that allow the termination of the SD-WAN tunnels to access the services can be physical Teldat devices located in the customer’s local Data Centre, or a virtual mode solution, installed in any public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud) for those customers with a Data Centre in Cloud Computing.
