    The Regesta Smart PLC v2 family is designed to secure critical communications at the core of modern Smart Grids, integrating PLC (Power Line Communications) technology and advanced IP connectivity in a single device. It's designed for 24x7 operation in remote and unattended locations, ensuring continuous service in critical environments. 


    It incorporates essential security capabilities for the power sector, including traffic encryption, access control, and the ability to enable signature-based monitoring of ICS protocols, ensuring the integrity of operational data and mitigating risks targeting control infrastructures.

    The Regesta Smart PLC v2 routers are designed to deliver secure, robust and broadband IP connectivity, combined with a PLC interface compatible with PRIME 1.3.6 and 1.4, making it the ideal gateway for smart metering networks and advanced telemetry.

    The platform ensures maximum performance and security in multiservice communications through the simultaneous use of 2G/3G/LTE, fiber and Ethernet, combined with redundancy mechanisms, continuous supervision and automatic recovery. In addition, compatibility with the Teldat SDโ€‘WAN solution enables corporate policies for management, security and network segmentation to be extended seamlessly into the OT environment, providing a unified and simplified operation from the control center to the distribution network edge.

    The Regesta Smart PLC v2 family incorporates the most advanced corporate IP networking protocols, delivering high industrial robustness, 24x7 operation, and tolerance to extreme conditions. Its PLC interface operates as a base node, supporting up to 2,000 PRIME meters, with topology discovery and remote firmware update capabilities.

    The Regesta Smart PRO v2 family delivers comprehensive encryption, authentication and access control, ensuring protected communications in missionโ€‘critical environments. It also incorporates the ability to enable signatures for SCADA traffic monitoring, allowing detection of anomalous patterns in telecontrol protocols and strengthening security across the electrical system.


    Combined with SNMP management tools from Teldat or third parties, and with autoโ€‘provisioning capabilities he platform facilitates largeโ€‘scale deployments and highly efficient operation in distributed Smart Grid environments.

    Regesta Smart PLC v2 router features 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports (2 x 10/100/1000 BASE-T + 1 x SFP), all of them configurable as LAN/WAN interface.

    2G/3G/4G (dual-SIM).

    The routers are certified for use in electrical environments with EMC, isolation, immunity, electrical, climatic and mechanical certificates.

    Extended temperature range (-20ยบC to 70ยบC).

    Regesta Smart PLC v2 housing is designed for optimal heat dissipation, guaranteeing operation between -20ºC and 70ºC with up to 93% humidity. It can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall.

    ENS Category High Certification.

    ENS Category High Certification and Approved level for National Security & NATO-classified projects, ensure compliance with stringent security requirements needed in Smart Grids and other critical infrastructures.

    IEC-101 to IEC-104 Serial-IP and Gateway encapsulation.

    Data from the serial port can be transparently encapsulated with IP. The "IEC-101 to IEC-104 gateway" function also allows IEC-101 RTUs to be maintained and central management software to migrate to IEC-104.

    PRIME PLC interface (up to 2000 smart meters).

    PRIME PLC interface with base and service node operation. It supports up to 2000 PLC smart meters, with topology discovery and firmware updates. Compatible with both PRIME 1.3 and 1.4 versions.

    Electrical environment safety certificates.

    Embedded 2G/3G/4G interface with dual SIM card tray for automatic backups. Advanced Teldat system for proactive monitoring and automatic recovery from WWAN incidents.

    Serial port for SCADA protocols (RS-232 and RS-485).

    Up to 3 serial interfaces (RS-232, RS-485) with SCADA protocols support, provide flexibility to connect to industrial meters, RTUs and other control devices.

    Integrated with Teldat SD-WAN.

    Native integration with Teldat’s SD-WAN solution, extending segmentation, security and traffic prioritization policies to the OT edge with centralized management.

    Console port for out-of-band management & optional Dying Gasp.

    The console port simplifies remote installation and troubleshooting, while the optional Dying Gasp sends a final alert on power loss to ensure continuity in Smart Grid operations.
