Teldat, the leading European provider of WAN Edge Infrastructure solutions, has been positioned by Gartner, INC. for the third year running in the Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure¹.
Teldat CEO Ignacio Villaseca said “To us, seeing Teldat positioned within the Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure for the third year running, clearly shows the markets’ appreciation of our SD-WAN solutions for companies of any size, from large corporations to SMEs – this is especially rewarding in the tougher SD-WAN competitive environment and the demanding requirements that Covid-19 pandemic has brought to all enterprises, most notably related to being able to ensure our customers’ business continuity and facilitate teleworking.”
Gartner states that “by 2023, to deliver cost-effective scalable bandwidth, 30% of enterprise locations will only have internet WAN connectivity, compared with approximately 15% in 2020.” Moreover, Gartner also mentions that “by 2024, to enhance agility and support for cloud applications, 60% of enterprises will have implemented SD-WAN, compared with about 30% in 2020”. Gartner also declares that “by 2024, 20% of SD-WAN centralized configuration and troubleshooting will be touchless via an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, compared with none in 2020.”
Ignacio Villaseca goes onto explain that, “At Teldat, we follow our strategy to continue enriching our SD-WAN infrastructure and software as a service (SaaS) by further investing in technologies as 5G and Artificial intelligence, to better serve the needs of digital business transformation and feature-rich SD-WAN solution requirements. While over the last years SD-WAN has progressively advanced, replacing more traditional routing technology, we have continued making our SD-WAN solutions easier to use, well priced, with a substantial support system and enhanced connectivity and security.” Teldat CEO continues by saying that “Teldat will further develop it’s SD-WAN edge gateway range and expand our software availability in different areas and providing solutions to new use cases”.
